CHRISTIAN MESSAGE
What is the true Christian message? Well, it is the message that is called "the gospel" and means "the good news".
With so much bad news, thank goodness there is some really good news! And what is that good news? I'll summarize it for you in a few words: God sent his own Son into this world to save people like you and me!
SAVE US FROM WHAT?
You may wonder: "But to save us from what?" Well, in a word, to save us from our sins and their consequences.
Sin is anything that is wrong according to God. Yes, there are many things like that in this world of ours, right? But this world is all of us!
It is true that not all people are equally bad, but that does not change the fact that, before God, we all need to be saved.
THE SAVIOR JESUS
So how can we be saved? – how can we be at peace with God?
There is only one Savior: His name is Jesus, and he came to save us.

As? Well, becoming one of us (but not being a sinner), giving his life for us and then rising from the dead.
REPENTANCE
And what do we have to do to be saved? Truly repent and trust in Jesus as the only one who can save us.
And this faith of ours has no merit either – it is nothing more than the empty hand of the (spiritual) beggar who grasps with deep gratitude the gift of salvation.
Have you understood the good news? Have you felt your own need to be saved? Have you stretched out your empty hand to take what God offers you through Jesus?

In our church we identify as a community of faith rooted in the sound teachings of Scripture. We firmly believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired by God, and constitute the only sufficient and authoritative standard for all saving understanding, faith, and obedience. We strive to live according to the principles revealed in God’s Word.
We are dedicated to continued sanctification through the power of the Word and Spirit of God, seeking to obey all the teachings of Christ. We believe in the perseverance of the saints, trusting that those whom God has accepted will never fall completely, but will persevere to the end.

The Scriptures
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by the inspiration of God and are the only sufficient, sure, and authoritative standard of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience.
God
There is only one God, the Creator, Preserver and Ruler of all things…; and to Him every creature owes the highest level of love, reverence and obedience.
faith
Saving faith is the belief, based on the authority of God, of whatever is revealed in his Word concerning Christ; accepting Him and resting in Him alone for justification and eternal life.
Justification
Justification is the merciful and total absolution of all sin given by God to sinners who believe in Christ through the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross.
